Who I Am

I am a serious and dedicated student highly motivated by my desire to be a professional computational linguist. Language has been a passion of mine for several years now, and I am finding that there is much I can do to improve the world within the realm of language technology. I am very professional, skilled, and am constantly looking to improve. Above all I am young, yet mature, optimistic about my future, and confident that I can make a difference.

I am currently involved in translation quality research with the BYU Translation Research Group and Mozilla. I previously worked freelance in medical interpretation in Yakima, WA and in the Provo, UT area.

I am currently attending Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah majoring in Spanish Translation with an emphasis in Localization.
