Summary

SPAN 415 Beginning Spanish Translation is the first course in the Spanish Translation program at Brigham Young University taught by Daryl Hague and Samuel López Alcalá.

This Portfolio contains my translations of the 9 texts that are assigned in the course. 4 Spanish to English and 6 English to Spanish with varying subject matter.

LING 480 Problems in Translation

LING 480 Problems in Translation is a class taught by Adam Wooten focused on translation technology where students can explore the history, evolution, and possibilities of technology in the translation world. This portfolio contains key projects I completed in the LING 480 class at BYU fall semester 2014. The projects featured in this portfolio cover a variety of topics including: machine translation, translation briefs and specifications, CAT tools, and translation quality assessment.
